Designed to provide the necessary knowledge for safely navigating glaciers in accumulation-ablation zones.
This course is intended for participants who already have mountaineering experience and need to acquire or improve their safety techniques. The course also covers glacier and snow-covered terrain with boots, crampons, and snowshoes. Safety techniques and crevasse rescue are also included, all of which are necessary and fundamental for mountaineering on icy terrain.
The workshops are held in the high mountains of Mendoza, just a few kilometers from Aconcagua Park, the Protected Area that includes the highest mountain in the Western Hemisphere.
