A unique challenge in Cordoba's hills
Every year, thousands of people come to the mountains in search of reaching the roof of Córdoba. The “Champa” represents a challenge for those who have experience in trekking or those who want to live the experience only once.
Its summit reaches 2789 meters above sea level and is the highest in Córdoba. During the journey it is possible to see native flora such as the Tabaquillo and Maytén tree, pristine streams, granite formations and extensive valleys.

We'll begin our trek in Villa Alpina, the traditional access point to the mountain. From there, a beautiful trail through a pine forest welcomes us.
After traversing a sea of granite, sculpted by water and the thousands of tourists who visit each season, the hike ends at the base of the mountain on the banks of the Tabaquillo River. We'll spend the night in one of the mountain refuges, which will be our home for the next few days, and where we'll be welcomed with a delicious afternoon snack.

"Silvina, a great guide, was with us throughout, showing us techniques such as how to use the poles correctly, how to hydrate ourselves, and how to tread carefully to avoid getting tired even though we didn't reach the summit. I appreciate her prioritizing our general well-being and her wise decision to return. I highly recommend her.." Aleja D., Trekking Cerro Champaquí.
"Two friends and I went on a 3-day trek to Cerro Champaquí, guided by Silvina, who was always very attentive to the group's well-being and taught us techniques to improve our performance during the hikes. I can't wait to reach the summit again!!!" Gonzalo Pertierra, Traditional Champaquí.
"We spent 3 unforgettable days at Champaquí. The drizzle and fog didn't stop us from enjoying ourselves and, most importantly, reaching the summit!!! Obviously, this was also thanks to Sil, who advised and helped us at all times. We are already planning our next Champaquí, but this time with sun!" Giulliana Arrua, Traditional Champaquí.
